We personally guide you through the process of improving your life, feeling better, and achieving your goals.

Our gym began 10 years ago in our basement garage and ever since we have been working towards making our community the best around: teaching our members to live their strongest, healthiest, and best life.

We use a mix of bodyweight, kettlebell, dumbbell, and barbell exercises to help each member get the most out of each class.  Our classes generally run 1 hour; some say it’s the “best hour of their day.”

Our owners and coaches are passionate and ready to guide you through each class. Every class at CrossFit Honesdale is coach-led. You will never be on your own. We are present, engaged and excited to help you!

Our staff of professional coaches are highly trained and experienced in everything from Olympic Weightlifting, gymnastics, nutrition, and bodyweight basics.

I first stepped foot into a CrossFit gym in February 2018 and never looked back! My love for the sport, and passion for leading others to accomplishing their goals is what drove me into coaching just one year later. The ability to serve others in blazing their own path on their health and wellness journeys is a privilege I am grateful for each day and something I never take for granted. Fitness of any kind was a foreign concept to me for most of my life and I've worked tirelessly to transform my lifestyle around what it truly means to live healthy and well. My guiding mantra is "You are best positioned to serve the person you once were" and I am ready to serve!

I’m passionate about the athletes committing to the process whether it’s CrossFit or running and having them BELIEVE in themselves.  Nothing is more gratifying than witnessing them complete something they never imagined possible.  And most importantly, to have fun along the way.  Exercise, in any form, should be fun and all the health benefits are the added bonus!!

I was introduced to my first CrossFit workout in 2011 and fell in love.  In 2014, I began training at The Garage.  I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 in 2016 and became a coach. Coaching people of all ages and abilities is something I’ve always been passionate about.  I also have been a snowboard instructor for the past 10 years. Coaching brings me a huge sense of pride and happiness.  I love helping people accomplish goals, become stronger, and healthier.

Coach Julie

After being a garage CrossFitter for a few years, I finally decided to step into a CrossFit gym for the first time in 2017 and instantly fell in love. I knew right away I wanted to be a coach. I wanted to give people the same feeling I felt when I walked into that gym for the first time. I’m super passionate about teaching people that strength lies within and you are capable of so much more than you believe you are. I want to help people get stronger and fitter both physically and mentally, while having the time of their lives. If you’re not having fun with your fitness, then I personally believe you’re missing the whole point of it!

I started my CrossFit journey in February 2022. I’ve always worked out on and off pretty much my entire life for various reasons: sports, health, weight loss, mental health. However, when I started CrossFit, I found more than a sport or the everyday WOD. I found a community of people who changed my life. More specifically, the feeling of true happiness when a coach/peer aided you in your success at the gym/life outside the gym, is what drove me into becoming a coach only one year later. The ability to see an athlete’s potential and aid them in achieving their goals, is the true joy of coaching. Throughout my CrossFit career, my internal mantra has been “Prove Yourself Right.” In other words, some choose to prove others wrong, going through life with a chip on their shoulder. But if YOU believe in your ability to succeed, culminated with consistency and hard work, you can achieve your goals.

My coaching career grew from a passion for helping others achieve their best and healthiest life! I simply enjoy every aspect of fitness, coaching and teaching.  My love for learning and teaching drives me to attend various clinics, camps, and countless competitions. In addition, I am always reading books new and old for methods and techniques to incorporate into our group class setting

Some of my favorite parts of being a coach is working with people who have never worked out before or are on a journey to make themselves a priority again.  I love helping people discover how strong they are mentally & physically, and love seeing how their life improves when they take that strength and confidence outside of the gym.  Personally, I love the social aspect of The Garage and my favorite workouts are long conditioning pieces
