COACH CHRIS

I first stepped foot into a CrossFit gym in February 2018 and never looked back! My love for the sport, and passion for leading others to accomplishing their goals is what drove me into coaching just one year later. The ability to serve others in blazing their own path on their health and wellness journeys is a privilege I am grateful for each day and something I never take for granted. Fitness of any kind was a foreign concept to me for most of my life and I've worked tirelessly to transform my lifestyle around what it truly means to live healthy and well. My guiding mantra is "You are best positioned to serve the person you once were" and I am ready to serve!

COACH SARAH

Growing up, I played/tried every sport imaginable - softball, soccer, gymnastics, etc. I never really did any type of formalized fitness outside of sports as a kid/teenager. I ended up bowling competitively for many years and it is actually how I ended up living in Honesdale! In terms of fitness and exercise, I was never consistent throughout my life. It wasn't under 2018 when I discovered CrossFit that I truly fell in love with movement.

COACH AMY

I’m passionate about the athletes committing to the process whether it’s CrossFit or running and having them BELIEVE in themselves.  Nothing is more gratifying than witnessing them complete something they never imagined possible.  And most importantly, to have fun along the way.  Exercise, in any form, should be fun and all the health benefits are the added bonus!!

COACH JULIE

After being a garage CrossFitter for a few years, I finally decided to step into a CrossFit gym for the first time in 2017 and instantly fell in love. I knew right away I wanted to be a coach. I wanted to give people the same feeling I felt when I walked into that gym for the first time. I’m super passionate about teaching people that strength lies within and you are capable of so much more than you believe you are. I want to help people get stronger and fitter both physically and mentally, while having the time of their lives. If you’re not having fun with your fitness, then I personally believe you’re missing the whole point of it!

COACH HUNTER

I started my CrossFit journey in February 2022. I’ve always worked out on and off pretty much my entire life for various reasons: sports, health, weight loss, mental health. However, when I started CrossFit, I found more than a sport or the everyday WOD. I found a community of people who changed my life. More specifically, the feeling of true happiness when a coach/peer aided you in your success at the gym/life outside the gym, is what drove me into becoming a coach only one year later. The ability to see an athlete’s potential and aid them in achieving their goals, is the true joy of coaching. Throughout my CrossFit career, my internal mantra has been “Prove Yourself Right.” In other words, some choose to prove others wrong, going through life with a chip on their shoulder. But if YOU believe in your ability to succeed, culminated with consistency and hard work, you can achieve your goals.

COACH RYAN

My passion for fitness started at five years old with flag football.  I fell in love with the sport and then also participated in wrestling and track and field. After high school, I was a freshman in college at the time of the 9/11 attacks. A few days later, I withdrew and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  After boot camp in Parris Island, I completed infantry school and was stationed with 3rd battalion 6th Marines Lima Company.  I am an OIF/OEF combat veteran and completed multiple tours in Afghanistan.  The lessons I learned in the Marines instilled valuable qualities in me such as discipline, hard work ethic, camaraderie, and dedication.  All of these qualities not only made me a great Marine, but also helped to shape me into the CrossFit coach I am today.

After the military, I returned home as a civilian and was quickly frustrated with his typical “body building” type repetitive workout.  I also was a bit lost in where I wanted to go with my career and life in general. I heard about CrossFit from a friend and after a tough WOD(workout), I was officially hooked!  CrossFit helped me find myself during a time where I was so very lost. I was a drug addict battling mental health issues and was trying to get sober. I didn’t have a career path and didn’t think I was good enough for anything really. Through a lot of hard work and the magic of CrossFit and its community, I was found.
