CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life.


By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

The community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together is a key component of why CrossFit is so effective. Harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport or game yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other means.


While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.

OUR STORY             


In 2012 we started offering personal training out of our home, and while we loved the people we met and were able to train, we quickly realized that the price of personal training doesn't allow you to see your clients  often enough to get the results you know they're capable of.

That's about the same time we discovered CrossFit.

With CrossFit you get the amazing benefit of being coached by a professional on a daily basis without the high price tag of personal training. We knew this was exactly what our people (and so many people) need. 

We then became CrossFit certified and started offering classes in our one-car garage. And there we grew for about a year and half until our class sizes (and dreams) out grew the garage (hence the name ;)).

In January 2016 we took a calculated leap of faith and moved into our current location - 198 Delaware St. Honesdale - attached to the amazing and talented Balance Gymnastics and Wellness Center.

In May of 2016 we were ready for the next level of this adventure and became an official CrossFit affiliate - CrossFit Honesdale.

Throughout this adventure we've stayed true to our mission of bringing superior coaching to everyday people in a supportive and friendly enviornment.



An experienced Crossfitter, State medal winner in Olympic Weightlifting, Marathon runner, and multi-sport college athlete, Ellie Provenzano brings  unparalleled experience, expertise and passion to The Garage. Ellie's supportive and encouraging approach to coaching creates an atmosphere of success and enables athletes, of all ages, to perform at levels far above what they thought was possible.


Ellie's passion for fitness has led her to become certificated in CrossFit, Personal Training, and Underground Strength and Conditioning. When she's not coaching or taking seminars, she's reading everything she can about fitness and developing new programs and exercises to help her athletes succeed.


In addition to her numerous fitness certifications, Ellie also holds a Master's degree in education and uses that training and experience in her coaching techniques.
